Nevzat Çapalov is an independent photographer and director of photography based in Izmir, Turkey. With a background in engineering and a strong foundation in cinema, his work lies at the intersection of visual storytelling, narrative construction, and contemporary image-making.
He has served as assistant director of photography on the short film Efsun and as cinematographer on Beşgen and Cennet. Alongside his ongoing independent photography and film projects, he continues to explore new visual languages and narrative forms.
In addition to his artistic work, Nevzat has built a professional career in corporate communications and has collaborated with global brands on strategic communications, storytelling, and content development. He also holds a master’s degree in communications with a focus on media, narrative, and visual framing, and is currently pursuing his doctoral studies.
Today, he operates at the intersection of art and strategy, offering both independent creative work and freelance collaborations in visual production, content development, and communication consulting.
